AIM Tell-A-Vision (AIM TV) is a division of Artist and Idea Management, Ltd. and was established in February of 2000. AIM TV is the first television company to successfully produce, distribute and syndicate television programming targeting U.S. born Latinos, helping to spawn an industry that had never existed before (television programming in English, targeted to young, mostly U.S. born Latinos). With over 65% of U.S. Latinos being U.S. born, but rarely if ever watching Spanish-language TV, and often ignored or worse stereotyped on English-language TV, a change was long overdue. |
|
AIM TV's nationally syndicated programs initially included Urban Latino TV and later the long running, multi-award winning American Latino TV, LatiNation, the American Latino Presents Specials and the American Latino TV Awards, the first viewer's choice awards show of its kind. In addition to national broadcast syndication in over 100 cites in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, the programming is available on a wide variety of platforms including network cable, digital broadcast TV, DVDs and more. |

Fast-forward to today and in addition to AIM TV's syndicated television, there are now several established English-language, Latino TV networks and content options helping to break the longstanding industry stereotype that young Latinos only watch Spanish-language TV. AIM TV is proud of the role the company continues to play in addressing longstanding stereotypes and industry misinformation for ALL people. |
